First painting with Artrage: A Rose

Well this is the first painting I've done besides messing around. I'm kinda slow, partly because using a mouse. I feel humbled compared to the amazing stuff I've seen here, hope it's ok to post.

Hahah. I love your handle. Something that invokes the nurturing proton in me. . .

Sheesh! Don't be so concerned. Even if it sucked, it would be appropriate, which this doesn't. . . suck, that is. . .

So even if you want to experiment and get way, way out of your comfort zone to try something wild and crazy, post it.

This is far from something to be shy about. It looks great! Splendid even.

I look forward to the next bits. It's like blooming flowers. What could be groovier and more creative of a mood of anticipation for a bunch of colorists.

    And welcome!!!

You need to finish this because you're off to a very good start. I hope you do ... this is very promising.

Thanks very much, it means a lot that you both like it! I'm new to this style of art, having done 3D and ascii and watercolour before
