    Caged in Pinks & Yellows

a brief diversion into a higher chromatic key, after plumbing the depths of blues and indigos in my last work.

    Pretty funny, Gary!

Trapped in the 60s. . . doin' time, man. . . scratchin' tick-tac-toe on the walls of bag of lava lamp protoplasm. . .countin' the minutes turnin' into days turnin' into weeks . . . to months. . . years. . . decades. . .

Hey, you found Perry the paisley paramecium, maņiaco! Tell him Waldo sends his regards. . .

This is a palette I like particularly! A fish (a polulation exodus?), an elicopter, military ranks signs, buildings, repositories on a hot desert landscape ... are we then in Syria, Iraq or so to counter ISIS?

Thanks everyone for commenting on this... D Akey, I never had a lava lamp so I am not sure why they keep popping up in my works, but sounds like the painting is just right for a 60's style party with all the organics of the period..!... cool man

Being of Your same age, more or less, dear friends, may I possibly ask you what a lava lamp is, picture, technical characteristics, whatever, just to realize if and what it was and was called in Italy ...

OK, found it. A lampada Astro and was called lampada lava as well here too. Intriguing, hypnotic object indeed ...

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)
