    Fallen Flower

    a flower cut and accidently dropped in the garden, more about changes and movement of time.

    It fell by a manhole, but it keeps its beauty and poetry even so abandoned ... Bold colors and signs perfectly matched together!

    Thanks Steve this is 26"x22" so a pretty big one.. at larger scale more details are evident..

    Thanks robyn, I actually started this out trying to get your yummy scumbly scratchy background ( you told Enug I think that you used a dry oil brush ) so I tried a variety of stiffness, loading etc. various coarseness on the canvas etc never even got close to your look but had fun in the process..if you every so inclined to share the details of the setting I am sure there are a lot of us that would grateful.

    Hi Gary, I've been having to pop in a lurk from time to time, and I haven't been able to post as much as I would like.
    I love to work on the exterior of our house and in the yard this time of the year, so I have been busy trying to beat old man winter to the finish line.
    I've enjoyed viewing your excellent paintings. This one is so bold and festive, and so alive.
    An attractive abstract that continually evolves into more and more beauty.
