What difference does a Bob Ross style canvas make?

I posted a couple of Bob Ross canvases in the Art Supplies section.

They're not just good for Little Critters and Friendly trees!

Both these swirls were done with about the same amount of paint and the same amount of swirling with the Palette Knife.

The Bob Ross style thin wet coated canvas is on the right.

You already know I am fond of using the Bob Ross wet layer of white...trying to remember what he called it..oh yeah "liquid white". Or in this case black. It works well for mousing, where you have to rely on effect and not tons of control.
On a personal note, its good to see you are still active in these forums!

Anything having to do with Bob Ross is a-okay by me.

I'll have to give this canvas a try here soon.
