    Very well done!!!
If the impression of 'bleakness' was your aim, then you succeeded!
I can feel the cold through your colors, but I do sincerely! hope the cat survived?
    Nicely done!

So many stories are in this painting. From the poor cat to the chap walking... is he going home or elsewhere!!!!!!. This is great

Feels a little sad, but that's life and it will regenerate ...

    A cat has 9 lives they say. That's only one life. . . 8 more. . .

Rather naturalistic to my eye. Subtly grim, but not entirely depressed. Actually it feels rather natural (aside from the cat) like any city in the morning. It's as if the Winter side of life is bound to be hard, but the rest of the dimensions exist as well as people adapt to the changing conditions. This one doesn't seem as exaggerated as some of your others. That's not necessarily good or bad. Just an observation of another side of your painting voice.

    Nice painting.

I always feel so sad when I see a poor cat or dog that has been hit by a car.
Your painting seems to me sympathetic and beautiful with the soul of the cat departing with the leaves to a new life somewhere else.

Nothing like a bit of road kill to cheer us up! So well painted, and I particularly love the magical swirl of golden leaves coming up from the poor cat.... and the Indian Red edged puddle on the left.
