    'Til The Cows Come Home

    Hi!
Im new to the forum and new to ArtRage. I am so impressed with the software and all the art Ive seen so far. I'm using a traditional approach to my work, but I am self taught, so I have never really had any rules. I just use whatever I can to tell a story. I look forward to seeing everyones work and I welcome any suggestions! Im also at https://www.facebook.com/ARTbyShelleyW. Have a great day!

Very pastoral. Dim lighting gives it a mood like it's time for the cows to come home, indeed. Always liked that time of day. Never tried it in a painting though with this narrow a value scale bandwidth. I think printing over the years kept me from doing it. Intriguing fine arts sensibility that reminds me of old 1800s English and maybe French once they all decided "The Land" was a worthy subject for paintings. Certainly everything is quite full feeling. Nice stuff.

Well, for being self-taught, you certainly have a great teacher. Well done.

Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
