    Thank you, Alexandra and Kenmo! I must admit that I had done a very rough sketch (quick and dirty would be the better expression for it) which I then scanned into photoshop. Although I should know it better I didn't delete the white background with the magic eraser in photoshop before importing it into Artrage. After the first colouring I was very unhappy with the whole painting but resisted the temptation to throw it into the trashcan. Instead of that I worked on the lineart with the ink pen and decided to be patient and invest some time into the colouring. You can see the result here.
    The whole thing taught me two things: 1. Don't do things in a rush. You'll have to pay for it afterwards. And 2. Many flaws and mistakes can be dealt with. Don't give up too early!

    The wings look flame-like which is a good literary allusion.
    Overall it puts me in mind of a stained glass window at night.

    i like dragon a lot too. somehow i see you did it very details and the flying action is cool and he's kinda of happy too. i like it

    What a gregarious and colorful lizard. A whimsical personality to love.

    Be not concerned with Dragon obsessions for we all have our favorites.
    I for one am obsessed with Ovaltine if the truth be told.
