Unexpected delight in the use of scale, Ms Coops. Makes me wonder at the secret they're sharing away from the viewer. So much like a secret garden kind of thing happening. I don't know that story per say, but I'm thinking about any kid's (or protected lady's) secret garden, with imagined playmates pressed into a backyard 'pick-up' game.

There's another side of me that is thinking that she's reading Mother Nature's palm, to see if it's going to be a decent summer for a change, heh.

It's like so fragile and very protective and safe in those hands. Delicate and lovely. Somehow the black background just gives me impression she is protective by all evil energy and just keep focusing and embracing the lovely spirit on her own. That's how I see in this painting. Beautiful creation

Dear Mr Akey, its always a joy to read your thoughts on a painting and I really like that Mother Nature is giving a helping hand.
