    Geoff. I always look forward to your new posts. they are ALWAYS stunning and quite beautiful.. the intense and smouldering look and the delicate bead necklace and great handling of the skin and hair are wonderous..

    Thanks guys, I enjoyed doing it.
    The canvas texture was not done in Artrage it was an after thought and done in P/s.

    Wonderful face. Very photographic. But that's cool. You can, if you so choose, use this level of closeness to the photo as a starting point and begin backing off the adherence to the photo. That way you will see that a few touches will put it more in the painting category than the photo. But heck, whatever suits ya and brings you the most pleasure.

    I can see many really great painted effects where it works great. The lips and hair and eyes are all really a nice balance with a lot of I could say loving care.

    I see what you mean mr D Akey I think I understand but being a photographer for so many years I guess I like to see detail and find it difficult to move away from it.
