Hanzz, Live with ARTRAGE updated 9 may'11

I just went to the caricatures festival in France. By means of experiment, I installed me a setup, that allows me to draw live with my cintiq tablet and a laptop with printer.
It was an instant hit. People loved seeing how digital caricatures are being done. I said to everyone it was done in ArtRage, as were all the digital caricatures exposed there. Much interest in the program, and if it was available in the French language. (no, only in Swahili.....)

I only did it for one day. Next year I will do it for the entire festival, with an additional screen, so folks can follow the process, of their own caricature.

    ArtRage Rules !

I will soon update my blog with more drawings ,but I wanted to share here first.

EDIT : forgot to tell: I also got an interview with a region- newspaper. I could tell lots about my love for my drawings and for the program !
A friend will send it to me if it get's published (and if he doesn't forget about it...) so as soon as I have it, I will post here!

Just say: "Rage It", because we already know it's art.

That's fantastic Hanzz. The perfect outlet for a chap of your amazing talent - and what great amassador you are for AR.
A bit jealous of your Cintiq though. Can''t justify the expense for what I do.

Hope this is seen as newsworthy enough to have an airing in Bobbi's mag - and perhaps on the ArtRage site too. It more than deserves it..

How cool! I like your idea to set up a monitor for the people being drawn to watch. Awesome stuff Hanzz!

Thanks, the idea for the monitor also has a second advantage, I get them to look exactly where I want them to look....

Thanks John. is saw many take a note in an agenda, or a little paper to note the website address of AR.
That does not mean they surely are going to buy it,but...

The gentleman to your left in the first photo could be the model for your caricature of Pope Benedict.
