Turn colour image black and white

Is there a way to do this in ArtRage? Say I have a colour drawing that I did in ArtRage, but I want it in black and white. Is it possible or would I have to export it and change it in an external program?

  2. Hi Muir,
    1. First merge all your layers
    2. Select edit > adjust layer colours.
    3. Reduce the colour value to -100%.
    4. Voila, a black and white image.
    Have fun.

For anyone who may be looking to do this with ArtRage 2.6, here's a workaround:
1 - Create a new layer (be sure it's at the top of the layer stack).

2 - Right Click on the newly created layer in the layer panel, select "Edit Paper Settings". Make the following changes, in order, using the canvas panel that opens:
1 - Select the "Cell" Preset.
    2 - Change the Opacity to 100%.
3 - The Cell preset should be pure white by default, but if it isn't set for that, be sure to set the color to use either pure white or black, using the "Color" tab.
4 - Click "OK" to make the changes.
3 - Now right click on the layer in the layer panel again, and select "Blend > More Blend Modes > Color" from the layer menu.
Nothing is easy to the unwilling.
