  5. Something about this reminds me of Autumn and smokey taverns. for some reason, I think it's the palette. Looks wonderful whatever it is.

    What's really great about it is that it shouts "American" still life, vs. the European tradition.

    Flattened images and components that make me think of Georgia moonshine & hospitality!

    I worked in security for the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in NYC for 8 years, and I've spent thousands of hours (literally) looking at paintings, and there is a distinctly different flavor to American still-life, despite it all having come from European standards.

    This is beautiful.
