    Hi Tone,

That is amazing, I didn't think MyPaint was available for a phone OS. Is the N900 running a Linux type Os?

Those brushes look really interesting. I use MyPaint frequently on an older Slate-type Tablet PC (MC LE1600). I like it because it is such a low footprint on the RAM/HD and almost infinite adjustments to the brushes.

    Thanks for sharing.

    ~John

    PS
I just found the Youtube video you made about MyPaint on the N900, very cool. I didn't know you could constrain the lines in that perspective drawing you were making in the beginning. I was curious how you did that?

    Hi, vapsman88!

N900 running with Linux type OS, yes.

Those brushes... "Tone's Brush Set V2 for MyPaint"
I have made them for N900 but they work almost equally good with
Wacom. I have tested these with Wacom Cintiq.

Tone's Liner - brush do not work with "normal" tablet because of
how Touchscreen works. They are bit different and that
nice "fast" Tone's Liner Brush is one example of this difference.

I like my N900 and MyPaint very many much
It is almost my "main" tool now.

There you find my "MyPaint | Tone's Brush Set V2"
and more about MyPaint and N900
I would like to hear how you liked those?
.. some feedback... I have done lot of work with them

BTW. Those Youtube videos are bit crap "old"
N900 and MyPaint works now amazing well with NEW Pressure Mapping!

    So NEW videos are coming..

...maybe I can do videos how I use my brushes?
..... there is so much to show.

    Tone,

Thanks for all the information. I didn't realize you could get such awesome renderings in MyPaint. I will check out the brushes you created, have been busy of late trying to help get out the June ArtRageUS magazine completed.

The Butterfly illustration is very awesome I must say.

Yes please do more videos when you get the time.

There is painting program named MyPaint to Android OS,
BUT it is NOT same program.

I do not know if Android phone could run this MyPaint.

MyPaint which running inside N900.. is same version that you
can download your desktop machines, Linux, Mac and PC.

    http://mypaint.intilinux.com/

    And take NOTICE.. That MyPaint
    uses PRESSURE SENSITIVITY of TouchScreen..
so you can vary line thickness, opacity, radius with your pressure..
    like Wacom tablets.

This is not currently possible with mainstream CAPACITIVE Screens,
    what I know.

N900 uses RESISTIVE Screen and while it is not support Multi-Touch,
It GREAT benefit is pressure sensitivity and pinpoint accuracy.

    Thanks, vapsman88!
Let me know how you liked my brush set.

and btw. I do not have forgot ArtRage.. I am using it a lot also
Butterfly images have "two" versions and first one uses also
ArtRages GREAT watercolors... on the background..

But N900 and Mypaint is such a great "sketchbook".
But it seems that sometimes entire "painting" could be created with it..
It amazed me, how well I could also work with this small gem.

    Thanks!
