    Alexandra,
This is absolutely and gloopsolutely ADORABLE! Who would think that
a mother and baby whale could look so lovingly harmonious, an endearing
sentiment that applies to all proud moms and their precious infants. So
    well painted!

Amanda, Thanks my dear friend! So happy you are back too.

MaryAnn, Thank you so much. The other morning I was so thrilled to be able to see a whale documentary and watch the mothers with their young. I was so touched and amazed at these giant yet gentle creatures of the sea.

Katie, Thank you! I meant it to be indeed. I am so happy that you liked this one.

AT, Thanks so much. I was thinking of plankton, but painted the little fish instead. Maybe as a hello from the gentle mother and child.

The whales are really wonderful, dear Sandra, all made of gloop bubbles, and so is the texturally and chromatically well matched undersea environment. These mammals are really fit, so slender; much excercise and a reduced quantity of plancton and krill as diet. The slimming regime was so successful that at first I thought thy were a couple of moray eels ...

Haha Cesare! So happy that you liked my humpback whales even though they were a little on the trim side!
