Lightbulb Sketchboook Mode - "solo" A Layer

SKETCHBOOOK MODE - "SOLO" A LAYER
Sometimes I would like to use Artrage as just a "sketchbook".

What I need to do this would be to have a method to "SOLO" A LAYER. (Much like in music applications, when you only want to hear a single instrument - like the piano or guitar )

This way I could make each layer a single page in a "sketchbook file", with an opaque background, and just switch between layers for a new "page".

I could then just doodle or try out ideas for later development.

A seperate button preferably, or right-click in the layers panel would do the trick.

Does anybody else think this is a good idea?

A "KEYBOARD SHORTCUT" WOULD BE IDEAL.

    great idea

Great Idea, I like only one idea in Painter sketchpad : the system which simulates the pages of a sketchbook. Each page has got its own layer. It would be brilliant if artrage functioned like that. Especially with mac where we can open only one file artrage at the same time ;-)
