    Maybe Tomorrow Will Be Better

I had to take some test at the hospital today. Last October I had my left kidney removed along with a large cyst all of which was cancerous.
The cancer seems to be gone.
There was a smaller cyst on my right kidney. We have been watching that one now because it is the only one I have left.
The rest today showed that the cyst had grown 1cm in the last 3 months.
I don't know how bad this is but, I am thinking it had not grown that much in the previous 6 months. I will be seeing the doctor next week to find out what the whole story is.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.

Except for today being exchange day (pay day), it wasn't.
I sent a text to my doctor and asked him about the 1cm growth because it bothered me. He said that is too much for a year. ( I didn't tell him that was for 4 months.)
The doctor who ran the test said that we need 1 kidney to live. I am on my last one and the cyst is now 65mm. The last one was taken out at around 90mm. I guessI am concerned now about how to change it or how long I have left.
I will go in on Saturday to get the answer to that one. I guess it is in someone else's hands now. I seem to be getting into that dazed attitude again like when I had the other one removed.
Nothing I can do at this point. Not really a good day.

Is there anyone in your family who can donate a kidney to you? Still I am believing for a miracle for you and praying for the very same.

I am not going to give up. I cannot affod to. Too many bills to pay.
Besides, they haven't made a model of a laptop that can be used in a casket. The tablet would also be hard to use because of the limited space.

Since I retired a few years ago there have been several of the family pass on. We have discussed this a bit through the years. Almost every time we go to the city we are held up by funeral processions so the end is not far at any time. I pass a cemetery every time I go out.
As we always have cold showers because hot water heaters are not popular here, I have told my wife I want hot running water, electric that does not go off all the time, and a nice blanket in case I get cold. I also want a telephone installed in case I want pizza hut delivery. It is hard to find a cemetery with all of these things.
Actually we have discussed cremation as it is much cheaper. I just told her not to plant flowers in the ashes as nothing grows for me.
At least that cheered me up a bit. i also finished my flower a few minutes ago.

    Sending good thoughts your way!

You know whats bad? Hearing your story makes my problems seem not so bad and in turn makes me feel better. Sucks that pain and happiness are such bedfellows...

Maybe I just have a slanted view of life
