    Lightbulb Lighthouse

    Hello,
    Please be harsh to this one and can anyone say me why It's not so real like the refrence. One reason i cud find is the water.. Anyone can please also say me how to give effect of water. Coz after many tries also i cudnt do that..

    1st. one is painting.
    3rd one is the refrence picture.

    Hi SweetPulp,

    I hope you don't mind me taking a copy of your image ............ it's the easiest way to explain what I wanted to say about the water .....here is a screenshot of the method........notice that I have left the water near the boat as it was to show the difference..........hope this helps you

    Cool technique, Peter! I need to keep this in mind since I am currently painting a scene with some water. This is a "nice-to-know" technique for us newbies to ArtRage!

    SweetPulp...great painting so far...I just love the colors! I can't wait to see the finished painting!!!

    It's hard to choice which I prefer though I like what peter did to the sea, looks stunning.
