    Boy Meets Horse

Okay, this is a work in progress for colored pencil progression.

I wanted to kinda show people how I work, how my mind thinks.
I start of with general sketch then pick a background color, I don't really like this one, will probably change it half way in once more colors present themselves, and start roughly adding colors with the pencil.

I love the color sample bar, you can add all the colors you use a lot, o just for that one thing in particular.

Okay, after working the pencil marks with the palette edge and adding color after color where I need it, the horse is visible as a horse...

The community really loves to see these kind of step-by-step thingies. This deserves to go into the Tips and Tricks section as a tutorial.

Thanks Robert! I was going to try to put less progressions, but now I'll keep some in if people enjoy seeing them!

As you can see from the time stamp, I'm working well into the night. I work nights anyway so this is normal for me. My fingers are starting to cramp up though, but after 12+ hours of drawing...I don't like to pause on a picture. I have to keep working on it until it's done if I can. So, that means lots of late nights. But here it is so far...

Wow dali! This is starting to be incredible. So nicely done so far.

Im like you--I work until 4 or 5 in the morning sometimes. When a project begins to take shape I can hardly leave it alone.

My current one is taking a lot of time, and Im starting to get bored with it.
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.
