    Happy Birthday Woodstock - Funny!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4_MsrsKzMM

Long ago before there ever was a galaxy far far away, when we (those guys over there) were all gettin' high, these lyrics were clear as could be. They made perfect sense.

Now that I've gotten the ringing out of my ears, I'll take a listen with A Little Help From My Friends.

    Enjoy!!!

Holy f*ckng sh*t. I havenīt laughed so much for a long time! I wasnīt at Woodstock, but I was definitely there for the era--in all itīs good and bad manifestations. I had hair then, and it was well past my shoulders. If I grew it like that now, Iīd look like a character in Chaucerīs Canterbury Tales or the singer in Manhattan Transfer.

Maybe thatīs a cute way of saying what Selby mentioned; I donīt remember much of a few of those years. What I do remember , I donīt want to repeat--well, maybe a few things.

Now I donīt remember for the wine and old age.

    Thanks for that Dakey!!!!!
The only problem with humor is that no one takes it seriously.

Do we have to accept what life hands us? Or can we say no thank you and ask for a different flavor?

    Dear Julie,

    Lyrics:

What would you think if I sang out of tune
Would you stand up and walk out on me
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
And I'll try not o sing out of key

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away
Does it worry you to be alone?
How do I feel by the end of the day
Are you sad because you're on your own

No, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

    Do you need anybody
    I need somebody to love
    Could it be anybody
    I want somebody to love

Would you believe in a love at first sight
Yes, I'm certain that it happens all the time
What do you see when you turn out the light
    I can't tell you but I know it's mine

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

    Do you need anybody
I just need someone to love
    Could it be anybody
    I want somebody to love

Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends
Yes I get by with a little help from my friends
With a little help from my friends
