The best poetry ever from all of you. I can't compete. Woo hooo... this thread still rocks the boat!

    Dear IrishRose,
I could have sworn those embellishments that chef D Akey so creatively
decorated the cake with were sweet gum drops instead of pepperoni
slices ... his thought being that the sugary treats would offset the
pungent WOWness of the silvery skinned, bone in, olive oil marinated
sardines, a striking and unique (rumble!) flavor enhancement when blended
with the rich, decadent flavor of devil's food cake. By the way ... would
you happen to (uuuuUUURP!) have some bromo?

I'm sure anchovies and blue fish in general is absolutely healthy with their antoxydizing properties, but the last cake is even better when it comes at anti-aging prompt effects!

Hanzz, now THAT is a chocolate cake worth taking a bite out of, er, so to speak. Scrumtious. Delicious. In the end perhaps what chocolate is all about????

Dear DA, a delicious thank you, and in return:
Better than a fork in the eye,
    A year's supply of hot pit-bull pie.
    Thanks my good man.

So don't be fooled by the gristle.
It's a lie in hopes that you'll not,
Give that old boy a whistle,
And lure him right into your pot.

    With marinate don't even linger,
He's way too tender for that.
Just pick up a piece with your finger
You've dipped in hot pit-bull fat.

A rapture from Heaven will greet you
With every new morsel you try,
And when your meal is complete, too
You'll rise up into the sky.

You'll feel so light and so bouncy,
Though your tummy is giddily full,
And everywhere people will come see
The Maire that ate the pit-bull.

    byroncallas,
Does that ol' wolfer come with a side order of Fafa beans?

If so ... set the table and pour the Ovaltine ... in a Tiffany glass please!

    hanzz,
Did you just get back from a tour of the Hershey factory ... on chocolate
    wrestling night?

This is one of the most "exotic" devil's delight confections that has ever
been posted in this thread and you have definitely missed your calling as
a cake decorator. Just wonderfully creative and whimsical! Many thanks
for frosting this decadent delight for us and I can hear dear Caesar's
    mouth watering from here.

    Dear Caesar,
hann's enticing Devil's Food cake and your new "devilish" avatar now
takes on new symbolic connections and my only hope is that you eat
something nutritious before "diving in" to this most tasty dessert .....
so you won't upset your sensitive stomach of course!
