Oil brush with oval or rectangle aspect is not rotating automatically

Hi Everyone,

This thread is old but maybe I can help someone else with the solution I found.
I had the same problem of the brush not rotating. In preferences, under input device, I turned on use win tab and it started working once I restarted AR.
It's related to tilt though. So it follows the angle of tilt and not the direction of the stroke.

are you on a XP deco tablet?

rotation technology is proprietary for wacom intuos 3/4/5/intuos pro tablets, and requires an art pen input stylus, purchased separately.

for every other tablet model, there's a choice between using tilt with some brushes, and having a locked rotation setting + adjustable custom angle degree slider for other brushes (oils, palette knives, maybe some other ones - I'm not sure.)

Thank you for the inputs. That clears my query ! So, it has to be a Wacom Tablet with Art Pen bought separately. Fine then ! I shall put up with this in HP Deco Pen Tablet. Yes, I meant rotation, not just tilt alone.
