That kitty looks like he's gone and done something sneaky. Have you seen the kids or the dog lately?
like the water color feel of this.

The expression on the cat is as if it's looking at the 'paw' print and thinking. . . somebody (definitely not a cat the evidence shows) is sure going to get into trouble for leaving prints on the monitor. . . I think I'll go hide where but where I can still watch the reprimand. Should be a jolly good show.
Nice watercolor effect. Light and cheery with lots of expression.

Thank you all, heheh. Cats have their way :-)
D Akey, the paw is going trough some field tests as it is intended for a future signiture. The cat is happy that the mark has not landed on her rear end as a reward for leaving her paw marks on my kitchen table.
so MagenSpark you were right, she did some sneaky stuff :-) The kids are not around thats why the cat is so confident, and the dog is her subject anyway. Cat rulez pam-pam!
Victor Osaka I was anxious to get it done, and by the end of it I was too tired to bother myself with the background. It was for the first time i used masking layer, i still got to learn the hang of it... and i see some potential with overlaping. I had to use a lot of wet and blur knife to achieve the watercolourish sensation (with wich i'm still not satisfied) and the default weapon was a custom sumi-e brush.

You always show an original and quite interesting approach! Your outcomes are like an already seen artpiece and still sensibly different ...
Panta rei (everything flows)!
Thank you Caesar, I'm going trough D. Bellamy's Watercolour Landscape Course and tryin to put it in practice (more like adapting to digital media with as classic outcome, as possible). It is great fun playing around, and so many possibilities trough wich I can achieve a result. Hardest thing is to keep things simple.

The cat has an expression which is almost human and I agree with you, the sky (and the whole landscape painting I'd say) came out really really good!

That's what art's about, isn't it -- at some point it's about the relationship between the art and the viewer, sort of like speed dating. (D Akey)
