Just tired and want a break again.
Makes me think of paints washed off windowpane by driving rain. Except the crossing strokes on upper side, but I especially like them; suggesting bit of shape not yet distorted by water. Feels very calm; I really like this.Originally Posted by pai
Apologies for posting two images. It is cheating but I was embarassed by quality of 30 minute sketch so cleaned it up a little and colored better. About 60 minutes.
Wow, I killed this thread I think.
Here is making sure it stays dead.
Hi Guys,
A quick break from blending wall paint to match one they don't make any more. I really needed a 4ft colour picker.

What ho, fellows! Making room for mush, magically! Away!!!!!!
hehe fun one Aged P i hear them signing 'the magical mystery tour...'
btw do tell if you find a 4 ft colour picker im helping redesign a space to be painted at the moment and i think it would help if we had 4ft swatches for people to visualise the finished result.

My first ArtRage image was under 30 min but I started with the rose image from the tutorial as a tracing. I decided liked it enough that I decided to put it in my blog and write about ArtRage.
Attached is my second ArtRage image, it is my first image from scratch.
I probably could've done a better job but I lost a little time trying to figure out why the colors were working so weirdly. LOL, then I realized that "Metallic" was turned way up (my boy had been painting with metallic yesterday). I do like the idea of trying to paint within 30 min, it's a good exercise.
