    A very great welcome missteerz13!!!!

A 90 year old computer geek!!!!! Hahaha Wow! I am soooooo impressed.

I am not familiar with the kind of tremors you are dealing with, but how about this -- plant the heel of your hand on the desk and just push the mouse with your fingertips.

I would definitely not use a tablet and stylus because one has nothing to steady their hand against.

Also, the sensitivity of the mouse can usually be adjusted where it requires a longer move of the mouse to get it to move the cursor, and a longer press of the mouse buttons.

That's for starters. Others might know of special designs for input.

    Anyway, welcome to you!!!!

Hope to see your work displayed, no matter what you think of the quality. Just get in there and play.

Welcome missteerz13. You're an inspiration to your generation. In addition to D Akey's excellent advice I suppose you could also try using the mouse with your left hand. At any rate, don't hesitate to share with us.

Welcome to the forum, missteerz13. I'm so happy to see you like artrage. I start Artrage with mouse too and there're so many mouser here and they created amazing works too.

In my humble opinion, I don't think age is a matter at all. Just have fun with Artrage.

Hi missteerz13. Have you tried using other sorts of input devices? I actually use a trackball for my day-to-day computer use. I find a mouse gives me a very sore shoulder after using it for a while.

The Logitech Trackman is the device I use - your hand rests on the device, and your thumb moves the ball.

You might find there are other devices which work better for you.

    Hi Albeert,

Try a heavier mouse? Or add weight to the present one, it might damp out the tremor a little?

I don't know whether this ever got manufactured.

    Anti tremor device for mouse

    Dear Albert

If you enter 'Secam Montrose' into Google search UK

It will take you to the UK manufacturer of a device which they manufacture under a patent from IBM

    The price is about 70.00

I would have sent you the web link, but as a new member I don't have pemission yet.

    I hope this helps you.

    All the Very Best

Aged P, adding weight is not a bad idea at all.

How about strapping a bean bag or draping sock filled with sand across the back of you hand as you paint with the mouse?
