    Chrismas tree

    Found my lastyear chrismas tree -
    under thisyear snow -
    ponder what this means to me -
    whereto time will go.

    I really like the contrast you created. Unexpected. Made me think. And there's no particular "answer". That also makes it interesting. But it's using some charged images and combining them for an interesting dynamic.

    Symbolic and evocative.

    Excellent. Would be nice perhaps to write it in handwriting on the side in the white area to make it personal, like an introspective thing rather than universal.

    Thank You all. You got the point:
    The surprise, contrast, riddle, yes thats the surface.

    Involved in hundreds rituals like chrismas, we find us
    confronted with our personal evanescence.
    But ... believing in a never ending process of universal evolution,
    we can hope in personal rebirth (as the beautiful tree of this year)
    (and ... maybe as a better Painter :P )

    How to express these mental pictures (symbolics) in a concrete painting?
    Do you know examples in art history?:roll:
