New here, hello and useage/resolution questions please

Hi, my name is Randi and I have posted a handful of messages and I suppose its time to say an official Hello I absolutely LOVE ArtRage! I am getting the basics down and it's just so much fun. So much different than PhotoShop and am now able to do more than I thought I would - what a price, eh?! Some questions, if you don't mind. The Art Supplies shared, how do I know if the resolution is 300dpi? Also, what are the usage terms of the shared Art Supplies? If I were to take let's say a circle stencil and create art I am selling commercially, is this allowed? Would I be asking each person who is sharing these specific questions? Thanks for ALL your help! I am totally amazed by most of the art work and giving in this forum. So glad I found ArtRage !, Randi

No one here is going to come back at you for your use of a stencil or grain or paper that they posted to share. As for your resolution question, I doubt that very many are that high.

My rule of thumb for the art I sell is 100 pixels per inch ... in other words, my 18" x 24' prints are created at 1800 x 2400 pixels at 1200 dpi. May I ask where you sell or plan to sell your art? I have three outlets: a local art guild, a local frame shop and an Etsy.com store.
