    Wax Seal

Well, I wasn't really sure where to put this. It's not really a gallery worthy post, but I thought it was interesting. Maybe it will inspire someone else.

I love the way the new smooth palette knife interacts with the thick paint put down by the tube. Something about it made me think of wax so I thought I'd try to create a was seal to use in my digital scrapbook albums.

I used the paint tube, the smooth palette knife, the standard knife, and two stencils (a circle and my initials).

Below are the seal by itself and then one on an "envelope" just to show the general concept.

Great idea Erica. It could be used for signing and authenticating ones Artworks.

Yes I have also noticed how good the smooth palette knife interacts with thick paint. I just posted some images earlier I did using just that method. And it becomes extra powerful if you put the paint down with the tube inside stencils, as you described. And in layers with well planned stencils it becomes fun fun fun. Glitter 2.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Blimey! That's really very cool.
It impresses me the inventive ways artists find to use ArtRage.

    WOW!
What a very beautiful and creative idea, I love what you did.

And now...would you mind very much if I made a seal of my own following your clever method :?:
