In the Letters section ArtRage is recomended by editor Ian Dean, alongside SketchBook Pro, as "brilliant, simple but deep packages te get start with", to a fresh starting digital artist.
Also reference to ArtRage in tips section, link here
Also mentioned in Artist Portofolio of Arthur Bozonnet, as used software, alongside Photoshop

Though I am still new to ArtRage I gave it a big thumbs up in a recent workshop given to my fellow teachers at Santa Monica College. The topic was the iPad stylus and I talked about and demonstrated a bunch of stylus from Nomad Brush's Compose to the Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus.

I could not keep myself from gushing about ArtRage. I showed my handful of paintings and let attendees play with ArtRage.

ArtRage4.5.9 MACPRO (El Capitan), Wacom Cintiq 13HD, iPad3, Note 4, Wacom Intous & Nomad Brush Compose.
