    portrait of Selby

    There is a topic page, i think 'projects', self portraits, saw Selbys avatar and had to attempt a portrait of her, was such a nice picture,hope it is ok with Selby,,never did this before, don't know if it's legal but you know how it is, just gotta paint,,,help/opinions welcome,

    hehe yep its fine with me Lee I dont think ive ever had my portrait painted by someone before its a neat thing if somewhat surreal to have happened.

    like your interpretation..its feels somewhat monet-esque (thats a good thing)

    I'm getting that it's just a little later than that -- post impressionist or expressionistic.

    You're right. It is flattering to have someone paint one's portrait.

    Dear Selby, Thank you!!! i liked the way the background light was on the side of your face, there was mostly shadow and light and pretty lines, i put your little avatar up and lifted the shades from it, all the rest was freehand, most important that it was ok with you, glad you liked it!
