Todays NEW GRASS paper grain, and Stencil....Jack.

I said I would make available to you any good paper grain or Stencils that work well.... WEll today I made a new paper grain for Grass ,and I wondered if I could make a stencil out of it, as well so you have a choice of how to use them.....
Dont get thinking its a machine generated repeditive thing, because its not...you get different grass wherever you use the chalk (or crayon)..couldnt do a full page stencil for the grass as the program for generating the stencils keeps them to a certain size...but you just have to move it about a bit and vary the size...dont go right to the edge with the stencil or you get a neat cut off edge..(unless you want a neat cut off edge)
I have been playing around with this paper grain today, and its the most realistic for doing grass, thats turned up so far... best done on a DARK background... just spray on some black or very dark colour.... although it doesnt matter toooo much with the paper grain as you can use the little +or- switch next to the paper grain icon on the paper grain setting page... Anyway Have a play with them you can do all kinds of grassscapes
now.... Have fun... and I will post more stuff for your use here soon..... Jack.............................................. ............PS I would try the paper grain first as it doesnt matter where you start chalking on the paper you will get grass, and it wont repeat anywhere on the page... Jack.

    Demo

Here's a very quick DEMO of the stonewalling paper I made today while trying to do a COBBLES paper...it came out with an effect like dry stone walling...which is very difficult to replicate with any degree of reality, so i tried it out and it also compliments GLITTER when your doing TREE foliage... I recon this will have a lot of uses.....
ALSO DISCOVERED a great way of doing reflections in water...as in this very quick demo...gives good water effects.....I will see if I can get that paper grain for you later....(if you want it)....Jack.

The Water REFLECTION paper is a slightly modified TORLEY paper that he posted for our use some time ago....I didnt know it would work so well for water reflections I was going to use it on a small setting for grass...I put it below the wall and noticed that it looked more like reflections than grass ,,so I capitalised on the idea put it where the reflections of the wall would be, and the tree...and just popped a few horizontal smudges on with the new blender and BINGO water REFLECTIONS......I said if I found any new tricks or techniques I would share them with you all and there are more to come.... lots more..... Jack.

The paper grains that were here ,the three main ones are a few lines down the page, called THREE NEW PAPER GRAINS,I have found these very useful, and they can be used multi-purpose,great for land/ground coverage, try mixing them together at different settings, if your using chalk use very light pressure for better results....enjoy....Jack.
