    Stencil Brush and Blender Brush

    Hi,

the new stencils in AR 2.5 are just cool. A thing I´d love to see in a future version, though, is a kind of stencil brush. So you could actually paint with your stencils (also with self created ones). Then it will be necessary to give some special adjustment options for that brush as given in Photoshop (scatter, step size, maybe some random scattering options etc...) So the user could actually create his/her own brushes.

Another thing that still doesn´t convince me is the new blending option in the palette knife. It´s better than in AR 2.2 but I still need a kind of blender brush - a dry brush with the help of which I can blend transitions even more subtle and smoothly.

    Thanks for your attention

Use stencils as a stamp perhaps! Especially when they are inverted.

Is that already possible? Or was that just an addition/alternative suggestion for a future update?

    Thanks,

    Hi Marco,

Right click on the stencil, then select Invert

You must click on a solid part of the Stencil, ArtRage is uber real!

Thanks, Phil, but my actual question was if it is possible to use a stencil as a stamp  Maybe I should have excluded the "invert" thing in my quotation/question...

I think this is not possible yet, is it?

    Thanks,
    Marco

    Hi Marco,

You are correct, I misunderstood you.

You can't use them as stamps yet.

I really like the idea though, it would be like Silk Screen printing.

Sorry, my original post was a bit ambigous. It was meant as a feature request.
