thank u very much gzairborne....
here is my recent work.
titled: Snowy.
software: painter. tablet used.
visualized the scene and painted in painter using tablet. everything has been suggested in a very casual, painterly way. kindly view it from a good distance and let the brushwork do the rest, or zoom out....
thanks for the visit.
Hi Waheed,
Utterly fantastic. It's a real pleasure for me to look at this painting because I love this style of yours.
It's also an additional pleasure because it really demonstrates your technique because I can follow the strokes and progression of the painting. -- color choices, size and direction of the marks and all that.
Quite excellent.
Does Pakistan ever look like this? I've been trying to acquire a mind's eye impression of your countryside, as I have with everyone else who posts here. It's like a class in Geography for Artists.
Superb painting.

many thanks nika.... glad to see you.

delightful waheed its a delicious treat for the mind to see really unusual to me to see warm pinks so dominant in a snow painting...usually they are more blue tones and it makes me happy this is so different and works so well its like a lovely desert for my imagination.

"I like to have a thing suggested rather than told in full. When every detail is given, the mind rests satisfied, and the imagination loses the desire to use its own wings."
~Thomas Bailey Aldrich~
