    just a small Q

Why is it that if you do a drawing in MSPaint save it then go back to work on it, there are lots of pixels near what you have done some grey some darker and so on, does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Hi Maror i always save as .jpg, its really hard if the kids at school are working on something then save it, the next time they open it, it has all these extra pxels.

At the school they have mspaint and paint.net, i'll try with some of the other progams i have here and see if it still does it.

Ah, JPG is not a good format for saving high-contrast line-art work. You will definitely see visible blocky artifacts - especially around curves.
PNG or BMP are better formats when using something like MS Paint.

JPG is better for saving photographs, or for paintings with lots of soft gradients and few harsh edges.

"Sure - how hard can it be?"

Yea most .JPG after working on them many time ans saving over and over again degrade a picture. change formats like listed above that should stop all your problems. File size will also be larger.

Don't think I've saved anything in .JPG in over 2 years
