    Rotating as toggle

    Hi everyone,

I just bought artrage and every feature is just dead-on. Everything is so well thought out! This is all very very addictive. Great work!

But i do have a suggestion.
I love that you are able to rotate the canvas, a feature that lacks in most other drawing applications. I think it would be even more usefull when you also have a key to toggle rotating while holding down the key and returning to you previous tool. A sort of quick-rotate just like the move tool works.

    Again great, great work people!

Welcome to the forums, Tristan. Nice site, thanks for making such a resource available.

To rotate the canvas without first selecting the menu option and getting the rotate tool:

    Alt/Option + Right-click drag

    or

    Space + Alt/Option + Left-click drag

These and other shortcuts are documented in Help > Shortcut Keys.

    Hth!

    afcourse!

Ah! of course! ops: Now i officially declare this program perfect! And officially declare myself too impatient/lazy to read the manual!

Then again artrage has such an attraction its hard to read about it without the urge to use it.

*note to self: next time look trough manual before posting

Don't worry, I haven't read it yet either, so you're certainly not the first to ask questions first. It's just too much fun to play, who wants to read a manual? The thing is, I may not read manuals, but I read forum posts religiously. Either this tip, or the route to the Shortcut Keys menu option, was posted elsewhere by elseone, else I wouldn't have known either. =]

    Hehe.
If the software is any good, you shouldn't *need* to read the manual!
