    Oil-tool grain-paper.



    MoHei.

    I get idea how made grain by usin oil-tool and i put that idea on this thread, perhaps it is usefull someone.

    1. First image, how i done it.
    2. Then Grain-paper .jpg.
    3. One example pixpainting.

    That's really good Heikki. Did you tap the oil brush over and over without sliding it? Making a stipple effect? Nice work.

    Yes i made it like you wrote..tap without sliding... clicking mouse it quite fast to do... i think that it is usefull method...can make how i say soft and smooth oil-layer.

    I don't understand the process (call me a dumb) Could you give me "step by step" explanation?

    Hi Heikki,

    I tried your method in making grains, as long as I did understand it.

    You can see the result here :

    Red and blue

    The grain is not very uniform but is OK for me.
