    Tabby Kitten

You can host images on Imgur without publishing them in their gallery. I feel this forum is in danger of dying.

It seems that way June. Very sad! 😢

Just back from the dentist having lost my two front teeth. (Fighting in pub car park again!!! Not!!) Actually two twenty five year old caps failed and the teeth broke off within a couple of weeks, so a plate it is. I hate plates! And this is not cheap either! A friend told I looked like I am seven years old again.

Thank you June for answering me this because I didn't understand why the forum was becoming deserted.

    Enug,

I see that imgur likely removed this feature from the mobile app if their twitter feedback from 2019 still stands, but on the desktop you can get a direct sharing link when uploading images, or later by logging into your gallery on desktop, opening the image folder, and opening the image in the new tab from there.

you can embed those direct image links same way a forum attachment used to work; embed code for your kitten painting looks like this:

    HTML Code:
[img]https://i.imgur.com/QUzZ9Px.jpeg[/img] - link needs to end in .jpeg or .png or .gif for forum to recognize it
and it will post this way:

I know that spam accounts here get addressed within 24 hrs from reporting, so if there's a forum functionality issue it will get fixed at some point; I imagine the team must be really busy at work with the new release.

there's also a general downfall in online activity for artists this year because of the machines taking over and many people therefore driving artists off the internet by being really hostile to digital painters, but we'll see what can be done to keep the board a bit more active in the meantime.

I hope you most importantly take enough time and enjoy the process of art making itself.
