Unfortunately, puns are not always translatable in English, and this one is in Italian only
But the title is bilingual because "ball" means "rubbish" both in Italian and English
And now the explanation for non-Italian mother tongue:
BALL-E echoes the name of a famous AI, where an ape enters a text and a Henri Cartier-Bresson shoot jumps out
"gnocco" means "cool guy" but also "potato dumpling"
"pisello" is a polite term used by and for little children to mention a particular part of human body, but it's also a "pea"
