You have a unique style do you plan to use these as illustrations for a book? The shading is beautifully done.

Oh no! Is the snake going to rip out his heart? Or has the young woman turned into a snake?

no everything is fine, this young guy is skyzophrenic in my story, and the feelings of love that he may experience are systematically followed by another feeling: distress, despair, dark feelings that disconnect him from the beautiful feeling he just experienced. this story is a long story, there are 20 pages of illustrations for 20 pages of text in A4 format, there we are in the middle of the story. it tries to tell in a metaphorical way why and how a man becomes crazy, but not totally fortunately, because he tries to have a look on his own madness, he tries to understand, it is what saves him.
the snake is the fruit of his imagination, as well as the pain in the heart that he can feel when bitten.
the snake is attracted by the light newly hatched in the heart of the young man, the snake feeds on feeling.

A very deep storyline. So you are halfway through - many more paintings to show us.
