Upsidedown tui
These guys like to hang upsidedown. We have a flock of them - up to thirty or forty of the sometimes in the spring. They are noisy, boisterous (even a little thuggish sometimes) quite people friendly. Mainly nectar feeders, but at this time of year mix in a quantity of insects.
I’m not too happy with the painting: no matter what I do the bird remains stubbornly wooden. Sigh! Maybe I’ll start again. Any advice is welcome
