    These are brilliant!! Just the sort of skilled and painterly artwork we once had posted here on a regular basis!

    Some are painted from imagination I assume... were some real images or sources used as reference to help with realism? I've heard James Gurney uses maquettes as well as photo references of people to put together some of his Dinotopia work.

    Please don't say your are visiting just this "once more" but instead just visiting "again".

    I think I'll hang around a bit. lol TY for the nice and wonderful comments and yes I do use models and pics to paint from. a couple of these were referenced as well have a beautiful day.
