Hello Philzh and welcome to the ArtRage forums
For controlled blending and blurring of specific areas of line work or paint in AR, the Pallet Knife is the tool to use.
AR user Someonesane made a Pencil Pack which includes 3 quite nice Pallet Knife pencil blenders.
You can find his Pencil Pack in his post here: https://forums.artrage.com/showthrea...295#post516295
If memory serves me correctly the; ‘Pencil Pack Updated 15july2013’ includes the contents of the earlier versions.

With a soft eraser, you could gently lift or lighten the pencil lines or shading in the areas you want to blur. This can create a softening effect and reduce the sharpness of the lines. You can also use a clean piece of paper or a blending brush to lightly rub over the pencil marks, creating a subtle blurring effect.

We are talking digital pencils and erasers.
