Fantastic painting Perendale![]()
I really like the mood.
I can see it as an illustration for a children's book.![]()

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
That walk the world

Love the textural quality you bring to your paintings Brett and your colour choices
Now, I’m thinking all sorts of narratives for this one, but do you have a back story for it?

Thanks Mark! No back story really, but I really did want it to tell a story. I have tried several versions of this idea but could never really make it work a way I liked. I’m ‘halfway’ pleased with this one
I was inspired to try again by Eddie Mendoza https://www.artstation.com/artwork/e0AGvD I’m nowhere near his class, but I liked to the YA fantasy vibe that it had and so I tried for that angle.

Looks as though the wolf is feeling some sort of sorrow for the boy that appears in his position to be shameful or in sorrow.
A psychiatrist could use this one for certain clients as a potential tool for diagnosis by simply asking the question "What do you see in this picture?".
I have a personally designed artwork gallery website at: www.stephenlopiano.com
There is one section full of pages there under the Digital Artwork category that is devoted entirely to paintings I have created with Art Rage.
