Been a few years since I used Artrage (10 or so I believe).

Can't remember my old username name so here as brand new.
Needed to paint a cover for my wifes new soon to be released book. Artrage was my go too so I didn't need to buy oils.
Having a blast!

Still working different areas but the brief was 1800's and Dramatic.

Well, I think you have managed to stick to the brief there; dramatic and set in the 19th century!
Looking forward to seeing this develop!
Which version of AR are you using? It’s come a long way in the last 10 years!

I have a few older "Marker drawings" in the forums somewhere. Unfortunately life sometimes takes us on a different direction
Been enjoying myself but unfortunately under the clock.

Believe I am using "Vitae" as I recently purchased this. ( My older version was pretty dead )

Love the program and glad it hasn't changed dramatically! I could still pick up the tools etc pretty easily.......... Settings.... still playing.

Yes, there are more tools and settings to play with in ARV but but it’s initial “pickup and go” ease of use still remains.

Found the oil brush, palette knife and occasionally the airbrush are the tools of choice. The draft pen is great for small details as I was running out of pixels in places.

Little more work on the sky and character. The character and bird are part of the theme to the book.

it's brigh and fresh but I would work more on the view of the cliff
also I'm not sure about the connection on the sky where cool and warm part finds each other
