    Cool Nan on Beach

Hi everyone! I started using ArtRage years ago but life got in the way. I am retired since last April and revisiting my art passions. This image is of me on the beach a few years ago. I have much to learn and enjoy all the amazing talent here.

Hello Nanette and welcome to the forum. This is a wonderful image. I'm loving the detail in the hat and crocs and the face is so good it looks alive. It's great that you now have more time for your art and that you are getting back into ArtRage. I am looking forward to seeing more from you.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

And what could be more appropriate for a first post than a self portrait by way of introduction!

Thank you for the kind words. I am 68 and still trying to decide what my style is. I don't think I have one because I try everything!

Thank you. I did this a few years back and see now I didn’t finish the hands. Lol.
