    Well Alex, this one came as a bit of a surprise!
    Your other paintings in this thread all, to me at least, have a feeling of depicting those moments just before or after an event.
    But this new one throws us well and truly into the centre of the scariest of events, combat! And you’ve handled it really well.
    I suspect this is not the first time you have painted such war scenes?

    No, Markw, it came as a surprise to myself when I wanted to draw a war scene. It never occurred to me before, I tried it for the first time. Glad you liked it.

    Thank you Enug! I think the picture will be very different if things don't calm down! It's an event from World War II. Now there are other wars. God save us from war!
