    Help!

How do I get ArtRage Vitae on this new laptop! I hadn't planned on a new computer when I purchased ARV but unfortunately my laptop died suddenly a couple of days ago. Mark - I'm looking at you for help as I guess Andy is busy bug catching!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that June!
I really want to help you June but not sure I can give you any meaningful specific advice here.
As you know I’m on a Mac and the Mac App Store probably works differently to the Windows one.
But I did find this page on the net which may be of help to you I hope: https://www.intowindows.com/reinstal...in-windows-10/

On Macs the MAS is part of the operating system, so on a new computer I would just open the MAS app, log into my Apple account in the MAS and simply hit the download symbol next to the apps I wanted back.
Hope you get it sorted soon, let us know how you get on.

Thanks Mark I'll go and have a look. Also I'm about to buy a Huion pen display tablet - kamas 22 - any thoughts? I've been using a small Wacom Bamboo One for so many years; with a new computer I feel it might be time for a graphic upgrade!

Well Mark I've checked and double-checked the FAQ's and I'm just led around in circles. I got as far as this page and it just kept taking me to the store.

Looks like I'll have to shout 'across the ditch' to Andy. In the meantime, tomorrow I will download AR6 to have something to use. Perhaps now I see why Microsoft has got a bad rep. However, thank you for trying.

And so to bed to dream.......yawn!

I can't find a support address for Andy.???????

    Once you are logged into the Microsoft Store account that you used to purchase ARV;
At Step 3, on the page I linked to earlier, what happens if you click on the ‘My Library’ option instead of the indicated Downloads & Updates?
Dose that not open the ‘My Library’ page as seen in Step 4? Showing ArtRage Vitae as one of your purchased apps along with the indicated Install button to the right there?

There's no direct public email to Andy but Ambient Design’s Support can be emailed at: [email protected]
However with problems when using the MS Store, contacting the MS Store’s support would probably be more beneficial as Ambient Design have no control over how the store works.

Hi Mark. It shows purchased apps but doesn't lead any further. The three dots are for sharing the link with contacts.

I'll give Andy a try and see what he suggests. (also getting used to new laptop and Win 11 doesn't make it easy.

In that new screenshot I see a cloud symbol with a downwards arrow in it, that looks like a download button to me...

Ah, it's at times like these I wish I had a PC to experiment with! But alas not
Dose the MS Store not have some form of Help Desk?

Hi Mark - Andy is trying to help but I don't see the page he indicates. MS help is just a series of faqs unless you make a phone call. I may have to resort to that. Funny thing is that in the blurb for Vitae it reads that you can install on up to 10 devices??

Morning here - night where you are.
