    Another great cat portrait from you I see
    But I am curious about the white area, it’s not immediately apparent to me what it might be
    A patch of white fur perhaps, but then the brush work is very different there to the rest of the fur

    Hi Mark, my daughter had the same problem as you when she saw this image - it's all about perspective. The cat is up on a ledge - probably a soft covered ledge - part of his climbing frame I expect. My cats spend a lot of the day perched upon their "cat gyms".

    When you study it you can see the covering for the shelf at the tp of the tower.
