A Pretty Pose - painted with ArtRage Vitae free trial

As stated above, I downloaded the trial version to see what all the talk was about. I didn't find any difference painting as I would in AR6. However there was one little thing I noticed. With AR6 my mouse wheel zooms in and out of the canvas. With AV I have to hold down ctrl while using the mouse wheel. (I'm left-handed and use the stylus in my left hand and mouse in right - works for me. )

I don't see myself collaborating with anyone so I will stay with AR6.

And another fine cat portrait from you June. Has a very purposeful stare…

Are you not tempted by these choice morsels in ARV?

I have noticed the auto saving which is handy should you be forgetful. I don't need such large brushes - in fact I was having to scale down the brushes. The tool that Redsaucer made for Windows, doesn't work in AV and it's a tool I have found so useful.

There is no way I will pay $112 for a painting app so unless I change my mind in the next couple of weeks I will be staying with AR6. I am not panning AV but don't feel the need to upgrade when I am perfectly happy with AR6.

As for the brownies - I'm watching my calorie intake!

According to the email, isn't the upgrade cost $39.50 US at the moment? So, around $54+/- in Aus?

I got my figures wrong - the original price was AU$119.95, the current upgrade price is AU$59.97 for the next 48 days. I don't think there is anything in the new AR edition to make it worth $60 to me and I certainly wouldn't pay $120 when AR6 does everything I ask of it. Maybe the new features are important to some but just not for me.
