Can you adjust the size of the display?

The display, when the program opens is much smaller than previous Art Rage Programs. Can that be adjusted?

    Hello Rob,
Are you referring to the ArtRage window not being full screen when first launched?
If so this can be set to full screen after launch by clicking the double headed diagonal arrow button, top right corner, of the AR window. (And/Or on Macs by clicking the green trafficlight button top left of window)
If you close AR in full screen mode this state will be remembered by AR the next time you launch it.

    Thanks for the screenshots
Well, I’m afraid I’m not sure what has happened there I have never seen that happen before!
My only thought is maybe, and this is a long shot perhaps, that you have some form of OS screen scaling active which ARVitae doesn’t like
Dose it persist after a system restart?

ARV’s UI layout is stored in a file called ArtRage7.prs. After closing ARV, if that file is removed, the next time the app is launched a new default one will be automatically generated. It’s possible this may fix the issue but I can’t be certain.

If you want to experiment and are confident about poking around inside your system:
Open ARV, go to; Tools > Brows Content Folders > Root Content Folder…
Now on Mac’s, in the Finder window that opens, the ArtRage7.prs file is 1 level up from the folder that just opened. (Whether that location is similar on Windows I’m afraid I can’t say).
Note the location of the ArtRage7.prs file and close ARV.
    Now remove the ArtRage7.prs file.
    Restart ARV.

    Otherwise if no other, more helpful advice, is posted here I would recommend contacting Ambient Design regarding the issue;

Received this answer from tech support

I’m happy to help out. You may have found a bug with our new HiDPI support in ArtRage Vitae for high resolution displays. I’ve added a bug ticket.

In the meantime you can revert to the previous UI scaling from the ArtRage preferences.

From the ArtRage ‘Edit’ menu, choose ‘ArtRage Preference…’

In the ‘Interface’ section of the panel turn off the ‘Retina and High DPI screen support’ checkbox
