    Monarch butterfly on Buddleia

The monarchs just love the buddleias in my garden. I also have a swan plant in the vicinity where they lay their eggs.

    June.

Oh God of homeless things, look down
And try to ease the way
Of all the little weary paws
    That walk the world
    today.

Matches the mighty tiger for graphic elegance. And you did this royal beauty proud. Nice flower too.

Thanks DA - the buddleias are taking a break and so are the monarchs. With Spring only a matter of weeks away the pollinators will be out in force again.
